» Easter Seal RunWalkathon, Founded By Joseph Persechini – A Commitment to Caring
Conceived and founded in 1976, by Joseph Persechini, the Persechini Easter Seal RunWalkathon is the largest fundraising event in York Region, in support of Easter Seal Kids. The 10K run/walk is held each year on the last Sunday in May, has raised over 2.9 million for the Easter Seal Society. This family fun event increases awareness of children with physical disabilities and raises money to help them to succeed.
